Kesar Da Dhaba
Kesar da Dhaba was founded in 1916 in Sheikhupura, Pakistan, and then reopened in Amritsar after partition. This legendary Dhaba has been visited by a number of great personalities. The procedure wherein Maah di Daal (Black grams lentil curry), is simmered for 12 hours and is usually served with laccha paratha and butter naan is done here. If you're in Amritsar don't miss out on this place called "Kesar Da Dhaba". It's prominently known amongst the frequently visiting tourists.
