Harike Wetland also known as "Hari-ke-Pattan", with the Harike Lake in the deeper part of it, is the largest wetland in northern India. Birds from all over the world migrate here. Two hundred species of the birds visit the wetland during winter season. Dense forest and beautiful roads; it is the best place for roadies. It is an attraction for the bird watcher as many of them come here with their cameras to capture the rare birds. Many families visit this wetland for the picnic and visit to the nearby Gurdwara.
