during the reign of Maharaja Sher Singh, son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. One can see beautiful fresco inside the Temple which is built on plate like structure. It is one of the famous Hindu Temples of Amritsar. Many devotees come here to pay their homage to Lord Shiva. This Temple is built in such a way that the first ray of sun light falls straight on the Shivling inside the Temple. 11 Joyti-ling are situated inside this Temple.
