Bhai Shalo Gurdwara, known as Bhai Shalo da Toba was built during the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh (1799-1839). Bhai Saho ji Gurdwara is named after famous Gursikh Bhai Shaloji a faithful devotee of Guru Ram Das ji. The Gurdwara is situated near Gurdwara Guru Ka Mahal where ninth Guru was born. Bhai Shalo Gurdwara contains a pond. Bhai Shalo ji went to many villages to gather fuel required for kiln to renovate and strengthen the Sarovar. He proclaimed that anyone who would donate fuel for the sarovar would be blessed with a baby boy. It is also believed by the Sikhs that Guru Ji was very pleased with the hard work of Bhai Shalo and he proclaimed that any person who would bath in Bhai Shalo Toba (pond) would be blessed with a son and any child who is born weak would become healthy.
