Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji-(Shaheedan Sahib) is located in Chattiwind Gate on Tarn Taran road, Amritsar. This is the holy place where Antim Sanskar-(cremation) of Baba Deep Singh Ji and other Shaheed - (Sikh Martyrs) was performed. He also performed the sacred duty of distributing Guru Granth Sahib Ji to the other parts of the Punjab and other states. Baba Deep Singh participated in all the major battles that took place in the 18th century between the Sikhs and the Mughal governors. In the year 1757, when Baba Deep Singh got the news that Taimur Shah & Jahan Khan have shown disrespect to Sri Darbar Sahib had also started filling the holy Sarovar-(the Pond), he marched towards Darbar Sahib to free it from invaders.
